The cuisine reflects the four seasons and their characteristic produce, featuring the very best ingredients as the days and months go by. Consequently, the brasserie’s menu is updated four times a year, ensuring that it serves the ultimate seasonal dishes to showcase the local region of Charmey (Switzerland).
Game and mushrooms are staples in autumn, before the arrival of invigorating winter dishes, including the legendary Gruyère fondue. In spring, fish caught in local lakes and delicious fruit and vegetables take centre stage, while desserts in summer are garnished with berries. A clever combination of a varied range of ingredients and flavours is key to the restaurant’s approach.

It’s nearly mid-afternoon and you’re in the mood for something delicious to eat. In winter, the brasserie serves home-made tarts and other tempting cakes and pastries, served with a freshly prepared hot chocolate. Of course, mulled wine is also available, with a tantalizing smell of cinnamon.
In summer, ice-creams are served on the terrace with a view of the Gruyère region’s mountains. Relax and have fun in Charmey, whether you’re visiting with family or that special someone.
